fairy tale

                                                            THE CRACKED JUG

In an area of India, there lived a water bearer. He has two large jugs tied to the end of a stick that will be carried on his neck. One of the jugs has cracks, and the other jug is still in good condition so that the jug always holds water intact from the river to the house, however, the cracked jug can only carry half its original volume.

This event continued for two years, the water bearer always carried one full jug on the other side and one half full jug on the other side. Of course the whole jug can be very proud of what he has achieved. Perfect, that's the point the whole jug is created. On the other hand, the cracked jug was truly ashamed of its shortcomings, he felt sad because he could only carry water in half the amount that was supposed to.

One day at the river, after two years of feeling the bitterness of failure in carrying water, the cracked jug said to the water bearer, "I am ashamed of myself and I want to apologize to you.
"Why?" asked the water bearer. "What are you embarrassing about?"
"In the past two years, I have only been able to carry half the volume of water that it was supposed to be, due to the presence of these cracks which made water seep out on your way back home. Because of my shortcomings, you have to do work harder, and you don't get satisfactory results. It's all because of my shortcomings. " Said the jug cracked.

The water bearer understood what he meant by the cracked jug, he was moved by what he had just heard, then said, "On the way back from the river to the house, I want you to notice the beautiful flowers along the road."
It is true, when the water bearer walked home, the cracked jug realized that there were very beautiful flowers along one side of the road. For a moment, the cracked jug looked happy to see such beautiful flowers. But at the end of the trip, he still felt guilty because he could only carry half-pitcher water. Once again, the cracked pitcher apologized for any shortcomings on the water bearer.

The water bearer said to the cracked jug, "Don't you realize that the flower only grows on the side of your jug, and the flower doesn't grow on the other side of the pot? That's because I already know about your shortcomings, and I use it in another way. I planted flower seeds on your side of the road, and every day when we come home from the river you have watered them through your cracks. my house won't be as beautiful now. "
